Saturday, October 14, Soaring Eagle Park

27 runners came out to tour the rolling and winding trails at Soaring Eagle Park. The weather was overcast but calm and dry--nice for running but a bit chilly for standing around. Many of those who stayed after their run to chat for a while enjoyed a cup of hot chicken noodle soup, along with a sampling of other foods at the refreshments table. Some runners seemed to already be looking forward to the next run: Sunday, December 10, at Squak Mtn. in Issaquah. Or for those wanting a longer endurance challenge, there is the Ron Herzog / Tanks-a-lot 50k on Saturday, November 11.
