Redmond Watershed Preserve features a flat to moderate-grade course with a few short steeper climbs. The entire course is lined with beautiful forest of Douglas firs, lush ferns and layered with moss--a quintessential Pacific Northwest forest. The trail is primarily a wide dirt or gravel path, and is great for beginners and fun for veteran trail runners. This is a fast course by trail running standards!
There are four course options for this event:
- 5-miles (8km)
- 10-miles (16.1km)
- Half-Marathon (21.1 km, 13.1 miles)
- Marathon (42.2 km, 26.2 miles)
All courses start and finish adjacent to the South (main) parking lot off Novelty Hill Road. All have low to moderate climb and mostly relatively wide, smooth trails, with few steep parts.
This is the last of four races in the 2014 Half Marathon Trail Series.
